LAEE is devoted to choosing repertoire to develop the possibilities for musicianship with an electronic instrument. This improvisation relies on a MaxMSP patch that gives performers an instrument with a deep control of the sound produced. The ensemble is divided into two duets, each with one acoustic instrument and one laptop. The ensemble works together to bridge the gap between the acoustic and electronic instruments.
